Eagle & Whale Limited was founded in 1996 by our chairman Christopher Kennedy and was born out of the recognition that clients were demanding increased standards of professionalism and quality service. Our chairman understood that with the world moving towards Globalization and the establishment of Trade Blocs and Single Markets and Economies, Traders, Service Providers and Manufacturers could no longer pass on certain costs to the consumer. As a result Customs Clearances had to be done as soon as goods arrive at the Ports. At Eagle & Whale we began giving guarantee clearance times to our clients thus eliminating any additional cost to them in terms of incurring penal charges.

Our significant investment in Computer and Information Technology, coupled with a well trained, highly motivated and efficient workforce have made Eagle & Whale Limited a leader in the Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding and Shipping Industry. At Eagle & Whale we are always looking at developing Software Systems to improve Quality Control and efficiency. It is for this reason that we were the first Customs Brokerage Company in Jamaica to introduce a Web Based Tracking System for our clients where they can monitor the progress of their shipments thus providing a greater level of transparency within the clearance process.

Since 1996 Eagle & Whale have transitioned from merely an efficient Customs Brokerage company to a GLOBAL FREIGHT FORWARDING, SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS COMPANY. This transition is simply a response to the needs of our clients, which is to work with one company who will offer them a reliable and efficient service in the movement of their cargo in order that they can concentrate on their core business.

It is as a result of this demand that Eagle & Whale have seen it fit to launch EAGLE XPRESS, which is an International Freight and Mailbox Service that will provide EXPRESS movement of goods for our client from various gateways in North America, Europe and Asia. This service will be geared towards companies who operate on just in time inventory or need urgent spare parts and raw materials and will also facilitate on-line shopping as well.
